Earlier this month CPEP partnered with Cayuga Community College to hold a graduation ceremony for five students at Auburn Correctional Facility. They proudly received their associate’s degree which was conveyed by Cayuga Community College and hope to pursue their bachelor’s degree. The event was attended by fellow students, graduates’ families, CPEP and CCC staff as well as instructors and program volunteers. This ceremony was particulary special as it was the is the first graduation to take place since the correctional officer strikes that occurred in the winter of 2024.
