Guest Lecture Series

students sit in an auditorium and listen to a lecturer

Guest lectures are an important part of our program, providing our students with the chance to learn beyond their classes and to interact directly with the speaker.  We seek to hold a guest lecture at least once a year.  Lecturers come from many scholarly and media backgrounds.

Last year we welcomed Robin Bernstein, who presented her book Freeman’s Challenge at Auburn Correctional Facility.  This year we have hosted two lecturers, Cornell Chronicle staff writer, David Nutt, and Academy and Pulitzer-nominated investigative journalist, Keri Blakinger.
