David Nutt of the Cornell Chronicle Visits Auburn’s Writer’s Workshop

In response to requests from our students in Auburn’s Writer’s Workshop for more opportunities to publish their work more broadly, we invited David Nutt, a staff writer focused on physical sciences, engineering, arts and humanities, at the Cornell Chronicle to talk with the group about journalistic writing.  He discussed the fundamentals of journalism and how it differs from other kinds of writing and shared guidance on structuring news stories and gathering evidence through interviews.
